Our Approach

At Steady Change, we specialise in weight loss for NDIS participants by focusing on small, sustainable changes that fit into your lifestyle, routine, and specific condition. Unlike general weight loss services, we understand that weight loss in disability care requires a tailored approach - one that prioritises:

  • Understanding Your Condition – We recognise how different conditions (e.g., mobility limitations, medications, sensory sensitivities) affect weight loss and customize our approach accordingly.

  • A Steady, Realistic Approach – No extreme diets or unrealistic plans. We focus on small, consistent changes that are effective, sustainable, and won’t disrupt your routine.

  • Minimising Hunger & Ensuring Comfort – We help create meal plans that are filling, enjoyable, and easy to follow, so you can lose weight without feeling deprived.

  • Consulting with Support Networks – We work closely with your carers, staff, or family members to ensure that your weight loss journey is fully supported in your everyday life.

  • Advocating for Meal Prep (if applicable) – Where appropriate, we recommend practical meal prep solutions to help make healthy eating easier and more accessible.

Weight Loss Support You Can Trust

We specialise in creating personalised diet plans and advice designed to support sustainable weight loss. Our approach goes beyond just nourishment - we understand the challenges weight management can bring, including energy levels, mood changes and stress.

Our plans aim to foster greater independence, boost energy, and improve overall well-being.
